UA-EACC Presents The War and Treaty

Tickets went on sale Monday, January 26th.

The University of Arkansas-East Arkansas Community College will present The War and Treaty on Saturday, March 14th at 7:30 p.m. at the UA-EACC Fine Arts Center in Forrest City. Tickets go on sale Monday, January 26th and will be available to purchase online at EACC.edu or by calling 870-633-4480, ext. 352. Nineveh Temple Church Free Snacks

Men’s Wild Game Dinner

A Men’s Wild Game Dinner will be held Friday, Feb. 27th at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church at 47 W. Main St. in Marianna. The event is free and will feature door prizes. Arkansas Delta Community Connections

Save the Date! On Wednesday, March 4th the Arkansas Delta Community Connections will host a forum-style panel discussion featuring field experts on: Addiction, Recovery, Mental Health, & How Community Leadership can drive change. The meeting is open to all and will be from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm at the Woodruff Electric meeting room.

University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture St. Francis Extension Office – Babysitting Basics Class

March 25th and 26th

The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture/St. Francis County Extension Office is hosting a Babysitting Basics Program for youth ages 10 and older who want to learn about safely caring for children. The class is March 25th and 26th from noon to 4 pm both days at the Woodruff Electric Community Room. The cost is $75/student to cover CPR/First Aid Training and will be paid to the instructor on the 2nd day. To register call 870-261-1730. Spots are limited.

 

Women in Transition to Glory Services – Jesus is Lord Campaign

Women in Transition to Glory Services, in partnership with Solid Rock Outreach Ministries, is hosting a "Jesus is Lord Campaign" in Hughes. Please be on the lookout for these organizations and the people involved in this campaign as they will be canvassing the city in March spreading God's love! They will close this campaign out with a city-wide Resurrection Festival on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Hughes City Park. This community service event is open to the public. There will be free food and entertainment!
