UA-EACC Presents The War and Treaty

Tickets went on sale Monday, January 26th.

The University of Arkansas-East Arkansas Community College will present The War and Treaty on Saturday, March 14th at 7:30 p.m. at the UA-EACC Fine Arts Center in Forrest City. Tickets go on sale Monday, January 26th and will be available to purchase online at EACC.edu or by calling 870-633-4480, ext. 352. Community Meet & Greet with Dr. Harrison @ FCMC

Special Olympics Arkansas Area 8 Polar Plunge

It’s time for the Special Olympics Arkansas Area 8 Polar Plunge! This year it will be on Saturday, February 14th at Village Creek State Park at Lake Dunn. Registration is at 11:00 am with the Plunge promptly at Noon. Brinkley Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet

The Annual Brinkley Chamber of Commerce Banquet is Thursday, February 19th. This year’s special Guest Speaker will be Brinkley native Herbert “Flight Time” Lang. Mr. Lang was a Harlem Globetrotter for 18 years and will be returning home to share an inspiring message of kindness, perseverance, and global impact. Ernestine Weaver Birthday Food Donation Event

FEB 20th

Mother Ernestine Weaver will celebrate her 88th birthday this year with a drive thru food donation event. The event will be held Friday, Feb. 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rain or shine) at the Forrest City Civic Center and will benefit the St. Francis County Food Pantry. Non-perishable food items are urgently needed. Plus, monetary donations will also be accepted and used to purchase food items. UA-EACC Presents An Evening with Toto

The University of Arkansas-East Arkansas Community College will present An Evening with Toto on Saturday, February 21st at 7:30 p.m. at the UA-EACC Fine Arts Center in Forrest City. 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off @ First Baptist Church in FC

The 2nd Annual Chili Cook-off will be held Sunday, Feb. 22nd at 5 p.m. in the gym at First Baptist Church at 507 North Rosser St. in Forrest City. There will be delicious chili, fun for all ages, in addition to competitions and prizes. To sign-up, call the church office at 870-633-2382.

 

Pastor’s Fellowship with The Call

Community Awareness Affair Event

A Community Awareness Affair Event will be Saturday, February 28th from 11 am to 2 pm at the Executive Hall located at 630 Madison Street in Clarendon. Arkansas Delta Community Connections

March 4

Save the Date! On Wednesday, March 4th the Arkansas Delta Community Connections will host a forum-style panel discussion featuring field experts on: Addiction, Recovery, Mental Health, & How Community Leadership can drive change. The meeting is open to all and will be from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm at the Woodruff Electric meeting room.
