UA-EACC Announces 2025-26 Fine Arts Center School Series

The University of Arkansas-East Arkansas Community College announces the Fine Arts Center’s 2025-26 School Series performances designed to offer high quality performances that engage, explore, and inspire school children of all ages. This year’s series includes Cat Kid Comic Club The Musical on Wednesday, February 25 at 10:00 a.m. Admission is $5 per person (students, teachers, chaperones). Oh Taste and See

Oh Taste and See – Food for Tasting & Food for Thought will be Thursday, November 6th  at the Forrest City Civic Center. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Advanced tickets are $4 through Oct. 31st. Tickets at the Door are $5. Enjoy Food Tastings from the Delta Region onsite eating as well as items to purchase for take home. Featured speakers are Rylan Nimocks and Janet Benson. See you there!

Marianna Regional Chamber Banquet

The Annual Marianna Regional Chamber of Commerce Banquet will be Thursday, November 6th at the Marianna Civic Center starting at 6:00 pm. Keynote speaker this year is Joe David Rice, Author of Arkansas of Arkansas Backstories, former business owner and retired Arkansas Tourism Director. Tickets are $30 for individuals and $300 for a table. For more information contact any member of the chamber or call 870-821-2678.

First Annual Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off in Memory of Cooper Hill

Let’s Celebrate Cooper on Saturday, November 15th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Forrest City Chamber of Commerce and Hill St. Chili Cook-Off, Vendors, Food Trucks, Live Music by Tom Sanders & Jukebox Zeros, Silent Auction and lots more.
