UA-EACC Presents The War and Treaty

The University of Arkansas-East Arkansas Community College will present The War and Treaty on Saturday, March 14th at 7:30 p.m. at the UA-EACC Fine Arts Center in Forrest City. Tickets go on sale Monday, January 26th and will be available to purchase online at EACC.edu or by calling 870-633-4480, ext. 352. University of Arkansas–East Arkansas Community College Partners with Greenway Equipment to Host Jason Aldean Benefit Concert to Fight Hunger

University of Arkansas-East Arkansas Community College (UA‑EACC), in partnership with Greenway Equipment and Jason Aldean, will host a benefit concert on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the UA‑EACC Fine Arts Center in Forrest City, Arkansas. The concert will serve as Greenway’s 8th annual food bank fundraiser and aims to raise funds for three regional organizations dedicated to combating hunger: the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas, the Southeast Missouri Food Bank, and the Arkansas Food Bank. Tickets went on sale to the general public on Wednesday, March 11 at 10:00 a.m. and are available to purchase online at EACC.edu or by calling the UA-EACC Ticket Office at 870-633-4480, ext. 203. Junior Auxiliary of St. Francis County taking orders for Egg My Yard

It’s that time of year again, the Junior of St. Francis County is taking orders for Egg My Yard, March 15th through March 28th. $20 for 25 eggs and $35 for 50 eggs. Mustang Booster Club Meeting

The Forrest City Mustang Booster Club will hold a community meeting on Monday, March 16 at 6:00 PM in the Forrest City High School Library.

Parents, alumni, supporters, and community members are encouraged to attend as all are in support of Mustang student-athletes and want to strengthen athletic programs at Forrest City High School.

Jolly Elders of Ridgewood Baptist

Jolly Elders of Ridgewood Baptist will meet Tuesday (3/17) at 12 p.m. featuring a pot luck lunch of "Taters and Toppings”. The special guests will be Ken and Lisa Siler.

 

4-H Foundation Drive

This donation drive, through the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture along with the 4-H Foundation,  helps fund 4-H programs and activities. The money is donated through ARKANSAS4HFOUNDATION.ORG. The money will then be directed through the Division of Agriculture, who will give the money to our county based off what is donated. The date for the drive is March 17th and the minimum that can be donated is $10. Please consider giving, Arkansas youth need your support now more than ever. USDA Food Distrubution in St. Francis County

Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas to Host USDA Food Distributions in St. Francis County

The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will host multiple USDA food distributions in St. Francis County on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the times listed or until food runs out at the following locations: Larry S. Bryant Wellness Center & Sports Complex in Forrest City from 8:00 am until 10:00 am or until food runs out and Palestine City Hall from 9:00 am until 11:00 am from 9:00 am until 11:00 am or until food runs out. USDA foods are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information about the distribution of USDA foods or questions concerning eligibility for this program, contact Natalie Neal at the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas by calling 870-932-3663.

 

New Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Quarterly Outreach

New Mt. Sinai Baptist Church will hold their quarterly Saturday outreach service March 21st at 10 a.m. in the event room at the Thomas Wellness Center in Forrest City. The Mt. Sinai Pastor and members joyfully invite everyone to come out and experience spirit-filled teaching, fellowship and worship. Their regular weekly services at the church site in Caldwell will continue each Sunday with Sunday school at 9:30, and worship services at 10:30.

 

38th Annual Blessing of the Fields Community Worship Service

The 38th Annual Blessing of the Fields service will be Sunday, March 22nd at Triple G Excavating Shop located at 8089 Highway 70 in Palestine. The time of the service is 5:00 pm. This is an ecumenical service, and everyone is invited to attend.

 

University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture St. Francis Extension Office – Babysitting Basics Class

March 25th and 26th

The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture/St. Francis County Extension Office is hosting a Babysitting Basics Program for youth ages 10 and older who want to learn about safely caring for children. The class is March 25th and 26th from noon to 4 pm both days at the Woodruff Electric Community Room. The cost is $75/student to cover CPR/First Aid Training and will be paid to the instructor on the 2nd day. To register call 870-261-1730. Spots are limited.

 

Women in Transition to Glory Services – Jesus is Lord Campaign

Women in Transition to Glory Services, in partnership with Solid Rock Outreach Ministries, is hosting a "Jesus is Lord Campaign" in Hughes. Please be on the lookout for these organizations and the people involved in this campaign as they will be canvassing the city in March spreading God's love! They will close this campaign out with a city-wide Resurrection Festival on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Hughes City Park. This community service event is open to the public. There will be free food and entertainment!
