The new hours for the Forrest City Public Library are Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. No children under 16yrs of age are allowed inside the premises. Masks are required.

RED CROSS ANTIBODY TESTING

Red Cross is now testing all donations for COVID-19 antibodies. The antibody test is authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and will indicate if the donor's immune system has produced antibodies to the coronavirus, regardless of whether they developed symptoms. FUNDRAISER

There will also be a fundraiser for Greg and Renee Gray on November 14th. Boston Butt’s will be sold for 25$. Tickets will be sold in advance. There will be a drive through for pick-up at Colt Baptist church parking lot from 11-5. Contact Tammy Talley for a ticket! They also have an account at First National Bank of Eastern Arkansas for donations.

FREE MULCH

THE FIRST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH

Forrest City Landfill will give away free mulch on the first Saturday of every month, from 7:00 to noon, weather permitting.

OUTREACH PROGRAM

EVERY MONDAY NIGHT

The Oak Hill Church of God, 97 SFC 309, will host Monday Night Outreach each week, a free support group for people struggling with depression, grief, loneliness, or addiction. A complimentary meal is served at 5:30p.m., and the meeting starts at 6:30p.m. For more information, call 870-633-7331.

ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT MEETING

EVERY SECOND THURSDAY EACH MONTH

The Alzheimer's Support Program of East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging will host its monthly support group meeting on Thursday, November 8, starting at noon at Forrest City Medical Center. For more information call 870-494-3300. Meetings are held every second Thursday of the month.

DRIVER'S LICENSE CLASSES

Classes for an Arkansas Driver's License are held each Thursday at the Lee County Courthouse. The driving portion is at 9 a.m., and the written exam is given at 1:00 p.m.

DRIVER'S TESTING AT TROOP D

Arkansas State Police Troop D driver's testing for Skills will be Monday, Wednesday, and  Friday at 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. The written exam will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. For more information call 870-633-1454. You will need an original copy of your birth certificate and also a photo ID. You can purchase a photo ID for $5 at the Revenue Office, this is just an option, NOT something you have to do. Either way you MUST have a photo ID.
